If you were a MARVEL Super Hero. . .

If you are a Comic reader or at least have seen a few movies like spiderman, xmen, fantastic 4, etc, you already know some superheroes from marvel comics.
Now you can follow a little test to see wich character you would be if, for a moment, could be a superhero.
Have fun and remember, no batman, and no superman, those are from DC comics. Can i be Wolverine? Damn, i'm Cyclops.

Car Insurance

Someone from the US ask me for a web with car insurances. I did a little research and found Advantageautoquotes.com

They got a low rate for your vehicle, one of the lowest online.
And the best feature is the Auto Quote Service. Filling a form you can get lower rates, just by telling where you live they do a research and present you the best possible rates on automobile insurance in your area.

Just try it and let me know.

How to create Wall Posters

My wall is filled of printed papers. I like to print good images, mostly drawings i download from internet and hang them on the wall to give it a personal touch.
I do this with high quality papers for the printer and even photopapers that shine and make a very cool poster. But all this work just make little posters from A4 or letter size of paper.

I tried many times to work with images to make them bigger and then put them togheter like a puzzle to make a more decent wall poster. This, of course, is not very easy and demand a little work with image editors that not every people will do.

Recently i found a site that makes exactly that, for free and in three simple steps.

Step 1 - You upload the image you like to convert

Step 2 - Slice the image

Step 3 - Download the final image ready forprint

How to Detect Lies

When we are talking to someone our face changes depending of who we are talking to and what kind of conversation is taking place.
As we listen our thoughts goes from the words to the old sentence "mmmh. Is this person lying to me or they are true words?"
It's never easy to find out when someone is lying to us, but we can learn a little from experience or from this webpage:

http://www.blifaloo.com/info/lies.php

With simple words and images we can learn to identify a lying person with their gestures and expressions and even with his eyes movement during the talking in this other web:

This is one education we should all have learned, dont you think?
Good luck finding the cheaters!

Night sky, learning Stars and Constellations

The night sky. Dark and full of stars.
From ancient times until present human kind have looked up and got breathless looking at the stars.
They always find shapes in the groups of stars and named them after gods, animals, and astrology symbols.
In this times when we did fulfill the dream of traveling through space ( at least to the moon ) and are aiming to more distant places, the stars continue to amaze us and every night there are many people who take the hand of a lover and seeing the sky, they look after shapes and put some names to stars keeping that moment forever in their lives.

The website i want you to see has a very nice interactive tutorial that teaches some constellation and stars. It only take a few minutes and will be marked in your mind and will stay in your memory. The next time you see the sky you can recognize the things you just learned on the always mighty enciclopedy of life... the Internet.

ICONS for your Desktop

We all change the wallpaper of our computer desktop from time to time trying not to get bored of it. Some of us even might install an application that rotate them daily or even by the hour (maybe that's too much, dont you think?)
But not too many people pay attention to the other component of the desktop even when our eyes are seeing them everytime we look at the wallpaper.
I'm talking about the icons, those little graphics being a part of our life since the first graphic operative system we started to use years ago. Forgotten little things remaining the same until we update the version of the OS.

Not too many people change their icons, maybe because they dont care, they dont like the alternatives included in the OS, or because they dont know where to find good looking ones.

If that's the problem i give you today a solution with style.

The page Websiteicons has the best collections of icons i have ever seen, and i saw many of those critters.
And not only has a large amount of graphics, they are extremely well designed and we can see how many people downloaded and rated each one of them.

Very recommended, and of course, they're free for the personal use.

SandCastles

Remember your childhood? When you and your family went to the beach?
You surelly enjoy the water but there were always time to play at the sand and the best way was to build Sandcastles.
You started with the central body, then added the towers and after one or two falls you ended with a decent castle and you were proud of yourself.
I think this happened to us all and we enjoy this activity, not only when we were kids but also when we grow up as parents and teach our kids to do it and help them to.

Honoring this wonderful tradition i present you a site with the best collection of sandcastles i have ever seen.
This are not just simple sand buildings, this are pieces of art. It's hard to think they are made with sand and they looked like an advanced sculpture sometimes.

Enjoy them

Then i went to the thing that saves me always and give me the answers i need: Internet.

I had a clear vision of the thing needed and went straight to search it and looked for places to buy it.

This days the PC has sufficent power to run powerfull games only dreamed years ago.
Video accelerators, tons of RAM and double or even quad processors are the core of the needed hardware required to enjoy the best games ever.

The good thing is that even with a normal pc without those fancy items you can have a good time playing excelent and simple games.

With a little help of the Flash technology, we can found a very large amount of sites with simple but addicted little games on it.
